Even if two people live through the same event, it’s inevitable that their experiences will be different. Through hearing the narratives of each character, this piece allows the spectator to immerse themselves into the story through two different points of view of one encounter. They are free to choose the order in which they listen to the pieces.

Their stories (hers individually titled “Spare Change” while his is called “No Change”), are different facets of their Exchange; the title of the piece. Each story focuses on different details, textures, and moments of the encounter, yet it’s easy to see that these two people shared the same space and time during a very brief period.

An interactive auditory storytelling installation first shown at the 2021 International Erotic Art Festival in London, visitors scanned each story and listened to them on the spot or they continued to walk the exhibit like a soundtrack.
